About Gary Alembik

Gary Alembik has been an attorney and member of the State Bar of Georgia for over twenty-eight (28) years.

Gary served as a Judge in the Superior Court of Fulton County for over ten years. He sat, by special designation, as a Superior Court Judge adjudicating child support, custody, divorce, contempt, domestic violence, paternity and legitimation cases.

Gary Alembik maintained a full time private practice for over twenty years, specializing in Family Law. Gary is member of the Georgia, Atlanta, Stonewall, and Gate City Bar Associations, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.

Gary received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University, and his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.

Gary is a registered Arbitrator and Mediator.

Gary Alembik maintains the highest attorney peer rating by Martindale Hubbell.

Gary Alembik is a member of Ahavath Achim Synagogue, and sits on the Synagogue’s LGBT Committee. Gary regularly volunteers at the Atlanta Food Bank. He also serves on the Riverside Military Academy Board of Visitors where he initiated the Board of Visitors Scholarship Fund.
